High School Version of Rotary International- Comprised of other local high schoolers
Projects
I. International
a) Purchased water filters for Nicaragua
b) Sponsored a $1,000 Shelter Box, which aids areas of the world in crisis
c) Sent money to a Myanmar orphanage which provided it with food and equipment
d) Worked a Rotary Hoe Down Fundraiser to aid Ugandan refugees
e) Collected donations at CSU football games and in our own schools for Rotary’s “Purple Pinkies for Polio” project
II. Local
a) Hosted a Big Give contest
b) Held a Laser Tag Party to benefit at-risk youth in Loveland
c) Sell Rotary Duck Race tickets which helped provide dictionaries for third graders in the district
d) Held food drives to support House of Neighborly Services
e) Helped send a local girl to an “Angel Faces” camp for disfigured girls
f) Purchased Christmas gifts for Windsor Tornado victims
